Wednesday Brings a Change of Scenery

On Wednesday the team will head out really early...  4.30 a.m. for Jomo Kenyatta International airport where they will board a flight to Kisumu. Once in Kisumu they will travel by bus directly to Gombe Village. They will tour the compound in Gombe and take part in the feeding station there. The rest of the day will be spent with the kids of GCC Gombe. On the way back to the hotel they will stay at they will get to visit a fishing village.

Pray for rest and then safe travel. It will be a very busy day for them. Pray God is honored. Last pray for health for all.

Grace Children's Centre Village, in Gombe Village, Kenya, is now officially open! A two year project, this 4 1/2 acre compound -developed specifically to cater for area AIDS orphans who have lost parents, grandparents and siblings to this disease- is home to 33 boys and girls. Now that these children have a permanent dwelling place - a fresh water well; two purpose built dormitories; a dining hall/kitchen; shower/toilet blocks; office/store; and a new Church On The Rock sanctuary/hall in which to worship and (during weekdays) attend pre-primary school - GCC Village can begin to add more orphaned boys and girls in need of love and security.
